The Cybersecurity Laboratory researches and develops technologies and MVP to protect Sber and its customers. It analyzes the scientific and technical landscape in cybersecurity and related industries, conducts applied research and predicts the development of cyber threats and defense methods

Our main research is focused around: cyber defense, anti-fraud, internal security, AppSec, Marketing identification technologies. The Laboratory has assembled a unique team of professionals with diverse experience at the intersection of science and practice in cyber defense, countering cyber fraud, product development, artificial intelligence, as well as mathematics and psychology. Over the 8 years of its existence, our team has received 57 patents. Students from leading universities and School 21 (Школа 21) regularly undergo internships at the Laboratory. Our employees have international OSWP, OSCP, OSWE, and OSEP certifications for ethical hacking and are winners at Positive Hack Days in team and individual competitions.

Research on new approaches to detecting, fixing, preventing the occurrence of vulnerabilities in the code of products created by the Bank, from establishing requirements for digital products to tracking their operation in the industrial environment (including research on approaches and tools to improve the efficiency of the development process itself).

Research and development of user identification technologies in the network.
