Quantum technology Center

Quantum technologies have revolutionary potential in many areas
Chief Research Officer
Stanislav Straupe
The center develops systems to improve the performance of machine learning and AI, protection tools against quantum hacking, GPS-independent navigation, for example, for drones. We also participate in the creation of quantum emulators and computers.
Lead to the creation of practically useful modules for the Generation One optical quantum computers
Photonic platform
Russia is working in the field of quantum computing on four key physical platforms:
Small prototypes of superconducting quantum processors containing no more than 10-20 qubits are being created, which do not require three-dimensional integration using flip-chip technology.
Superconducting platform
Developing the platform and creation of multi-qubit systems with a switch to planar trap chips is a next-generation technological task. Photon 729 nm chips which are rarely used in other fields shall present a separate technological challenge for the creation of such technology for ion processors
Ionic platform

Quantum computing in Russia
It can potentially be used to model quantum dynamical systems, create multidimensional entanglement, parallel quantum logic operations and atomic clocks.
